Driscoll Announces Campaign 
Pat Driscoll announced his campaign to wrest California's 5th Congressional seat from Representative Robert Matsui at a press conference on Veterans Day.  He was joined by Peter Camejo in pointing out that Democrats have failed to provide sufficient opposition to President Bush's war for oil.

Green Party County Council Endorses Driscoll For Congress Campaign
At its July 2003 monthly meeting the Green Party Sacramento County Council voted to endorse Pat Driscoll's 2004 election campaign for California's Congressional District 5. This seat is currently held by a Democrat, Representative Robert Matsui.

Matsui Iraq Vote

On 21 March 2003, Bob  Matsui voted "that the Congress expresses the unequivocal support and appreciation of the Nation to the President for his firm leadership and decisive action in the conduct of military operations in Iraq.  Matsui has since shown his attitude toward the Iraq war by endorsing pro-war Democrat  Dick Gephardt's  Presidential campaign.  Click here to read the full text of H.
